With Love

Here I am holding you hand,
Watching you slip away like sand.
I had to see you die today.
See your light just fade away.
I saw you tossing and turning as you lay.
I wanted to shake you and beg you to stay.
It was so hard to see you fighting to breathe.
Never thought you'd actually leave.
Everyone keeps saying it was God's will.
I can't help but think you should be here still.
Guess you saw your angels,
Here to wash away your lives tangles.
I will always miss your loving smile,
And remember you with every passing mile.
You'll always be in my heart,
For however long we are apart.

In loving memory

Life Remembered

A life started with a push,
Ended with a squeal of tires.
A life full of promise,
Lives on in the shining eyes of a child.
A heart full of compassion,
Remembered in the minds of friends.
A laugh full of joy,
Still heard in the silent halls.
A gentle touch,
Felt, wiping away the tears.
A beautiful person,
Lives on in the people she's touched.
Daddy's little girl,
Is waiting for him at Home.
With a beep of a monitor,
A heart stops,
But a life is remembered.
